Music/Audio Music File Catalogers & Utilities CDProW 3.1 Free Downloads at Simtel.net CDProW is a Microsoft Windows database program that helps you to keep track of your CD or tape collection. You can either manually add your recordings to the database or CDProW can read the CD in your CD-ROM drive and lookup the recording information for you using FreeDB on the Internet. This version is a major rewrite from the prior version and contains a large number of enhancements including:
-A new file format was implemented that dramatically reduces file size and improves performance.
-Multiple dialogs were combined into a single form with multiple tabs.
-Internet lookup was modified to use freedb rather than the original CDDB sites.
-A one-button add feature was developed using the Internet Lookup. This greatly reduces the effort needed to add new records to the database.
-The primary collection list is now completely configurable. You select the fields you want to show and the order in which they are shown. Multiple named views can be maintained and used. The main collection list can be resized or maximized to view additional fields.
-Custom report design has been integrated with Views. Named views can be used for viewing from the main collection list or used to print reports.
-Sort sequence is now tied directly the primary collection list columns. Just click on a column to change the sort sequence. This sort sequence is also used for report printing.
